JULIA BOYER
Outreach Coordinator
Julia Boyer may not be a native Bawlmerian, but she has had a love for Charm City and the quintessential Baltimore author and icon, E.A. Poe, since early childhood. After graduating from Goucher College in 2010 with a degree in English Literature, Julia returned to the land of her birth (Lancaster, Pennsylvania) before coming home to Baltimore for a series of internships in the summer of 2011. She found her dream job at Reading Partners, working to instill a love of literature in children and sharing her passion for reading with the community. Julia currently lives in the Hampden neighborhood with her personal library of well-used cookbooks, Jane Austen and Poe and her two cats, Lucy and Stormageddon. She is incredibly excited to work with the Baltimore community to secure a better future for the children of the city! Her goal while involved in reading partners is to introduce at least one child to the wonders of 'The Babysitter's Club' or 'Goosebumps,' her two favorite childhood series.
